- The Poulsbo Farmers Market kicked off April 6, with another record opener, and another dodged bullet, in terms of weather.
- KFW hosts its third Garden Equity work party of the season at Nat & Maria's Garden Farm, Sunday April 21st, from 10-2.
- Spring planting is ramping up: time to pot up flowers, peppers, and tomatoes. Potatoes go in the ground later this month, and we'll prep the south greenhouse to plant out in May.
- The west greenhouse at North Kitsap High School is ready for final design considerations. We'll be purchasing materials from the Smythe Mill and Vern's topsoil soon, in order to build raised beds for the NKHS culinary garden.
- We're expecting baby bunnies in the middle of the month. Cross your fingers for healthy kits!
